Finding us
Apartment 55 is on Level 5 of the Riviera building, 48–50 Military Road, North Bondi NSW 2026 — on the ocean side of Military Road, a ten-minute walk downhill to North Bondi beach.
From the city, follow Oxford Street through Bondi Junction onto Bondi Road, then Campbell Parade along the beach and up Military Road. From Sydney Airport allow 30–40 minutes. Set your GPS to 48 Military Road, North Bondi.
Ask to be dropped at the driveway of 48–50 Military Road — the building sign reads RIVIERA. The 380 and 333 buses run from the city to Bondi Beach; the 380 continues up Military Road.
Arrival & parking
We'll meet you at the agreed check-in time with the keys. Message your ETA through Airbnb the day before, and again about 30 minutes away. The short videos below show the drive in, step by step.
This is the apartment entrance. Drive through this driveway — it slopes down beneath the building into the undercover car park. There is no gate or code; drive straight in.
On your left, near the lift, there are two loading dock spaces. You can park there if you'd like to unload close to the lift. These are shared with all residents and signed 15 minutes only — please move to Bay 55 once your bags are out.

Keep driving down to Unit 55's space. It sits on the right-hand side, facing the brocade wall, next to Bay 54 — the Unit 55 sign is on the back of the right-hand pillar. The space is tight; see How big is the space? below before you book a hire car.
▶ WATCH: FINDING BAY 55We don't have exact measurements yet, so judge it by eye before you book a hire car. The bay runs between the two pillars, from the kerb to the brocade wall, and it is tight.
A Mercedes SLK300 — 4.1 m long, 1.8 m wide — has parked in this bay. That is the one vehicle we can vouch for from experience.
We think a medium sedan or SUV will also go in, but we haven't proven it, so we'd rather not promise. Message us with your make and model before you book a hire car and we'll give you an honest answer rather than a guess.
YOUR SPACE
NOT OURS
Bay 54 belongs to our neighbours — not to us. Please don't park in it, and when you park in 55 leave them enough room to get their car in and out comfortably.
▶ WATCH: GIVING BAY 54 ROOMThe lift is beside the loading bays. Take it up to Level 5 — Apartment 55 is on that floor. The Level 5 button sometimes doesn't light up, but the lift will still take you there. No stairs needed on arrival.
The layout
Level Five: living and dining opening onto the balcony, two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and laundry, plus the undercover car space downstairs.
Fire & emergency safety
Evacuation diagrams are displayed beside the apartment entrance and each bedroom door; find your nearest exit when you arrive. The fire extinguisher and fire blanket are in the kitchen. Smoke alarms are interconnected.
- Alert everyone and leave immediately.
- Close doors behind you; don't stop for belongings.
- Follow the corridor to the fire stairs beside the lift.
- Never use the lift during a fire or evacuation.
- Take the stairs down and exit to Military Road.
- Cross to the opposite footpath, clear of the building and driveway, and call 000.

Only use the extinguisher or fire blanket on a very small fire, and only if safe. If in doubt, evacuate.
Before you go
Checkout is by 11:00 am; just a few small things:
- Rubbish and recycling to the labelled bins on Level 3
- Used towels in the bath or shower
- Lights, television and appliances off
- Windows and balcony doors closed
- Check drawers, bathroom and power points for belongings
- Keys on the chest of drawers by the front door; pull the door firmly closed
